What is Spectrum Campus.

Spectrum Campus is a 12-month professional learning and development programme designed by industry-leading training and sales experts to provide talented and committed young people with the skills and attributes they need to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Good salespeople are not born, they’re made! Through Spectrum Campus, the cohort will be taught about both the science and art of selling, and be given the tools necessary to cope with the practical and emotional challenges faced by the most successful people in business.

Graduates of the programme will be awarded with a prestigious qualification and, most importantly, the offer of permanent full-time employment in one of the most well-respected businesses in the North of England. A positive attitude and a curious mindset are required to succeed on this programme, and the rewards can be considerable.

Spectrum Campus comes from the minds of some of the most successful sales professionals working in our industry. Led by our two Sales Directors and managed by our Head of Learning & Development, Spectrum Campus operates with tried and tested methodologies in professional selling that have been honed over the last 35 years.

Jane Harper

Formerly Head of Learning & Development at Canon (UK) Ltd, Jane runs our innovative in-house training and development programmes.

Lee Evans

One of our Sales Directors, Lee is in day-to-day control of the sales team with a particular emphasis on the company’s growth strategy.

Graham Frankish

One of our Sales Directors, Graham provides a wealth of knowledge and support to our growing sales team and continues to look after the majority of our corporate clients.

How many places are on the programme?

In September 2019, the Spectrum Campus Professional Selling Skills programme will begin with an intake of 6 Trainee Sales Executives.

As well as undergoing the 12-month curriculum with our Head of Learning & Development, the team will be mentored closely by some of our Senior Account Managers throughout the programme, to give you further advice, guidance and support from our experienced professionals.

As only 6 positions are on offer, places on the programme are highly sought-after and the recruitment process will be both competitive and challenging… just like things are in the world of business.

What’s the process?

The recruitment process for Spectrum Campus is intended to welcome as many applicants as possible. Because of this, we will run a series of open days and interviews that will involve practical and mental challenges to test your aptitude and encourage you to fight hard to earn your place at Spectrum Campus.
